About Us

Cooking From The Soul Since 2014

In 2014, Harlem Nights Soul Food Bar & Grill opened in Paris, Texas with a simple goal: serve real Southern comfort food and care for the community. Over the years, the team has grown stronger, even through the Covid-19 pandemic. With great food, strong service, and a welcoming space, it has become a trusted spot for neighbors and visitors to gather, share meals, and feel at home.
Owner Tyrone Hayden brings over 22 years of restaurant leadership across Texas. With a Business Administration degree from American Intercontinental University, he guides the team with clear direction and purpose. A proud Paris native, he hires and trains local staff to deliver strong service. His focus is simple: build a place that supports the community and serves guests with respect.
Chef Carla Wallace-Hayden has led the kitchen since day one. With over 18 years in culinary management, she prepares down-home Southern comfort food for neighbors in Paris, Texas. She continues to grow the menu with new ideas while honoring classic soul dishes. As a wife, mother, and leader, she cooks so every guest leaves feeling cared for and complete.

Seven years strong, Harlem Nights Scratch Kitchen is known as one of the spots to visit in Paris, Texas. Guests enjoy signature food, house cocktails, and frozen daiquiris in a warm setting. The team also offers home catering and mobile bar services for events. The mission stays clear: serve great food, provide steady service, and welcome everyone who walks through the door.
